I think you’ve made some good points. But not unlike the idea I’m proposing, are filled with a ton of assumptions. The clipboard might be an invisible feature to some but definitely not for many others. The solution I’m proposing would ensure that it isn’t, actually. Animation is slowly becoming a very popular way to grasp a users attention, and teach them about something that’s happening — in a quick an informative way.

But yes, this is just a concept that may not work. But maybe it could!
